Welcome to my page. I am passionate about developing readers, writers, historians, and debators, as you will need to be able to express yourself with words and understand texts, historical or not. HOWEVER, do you know that I used to also be a musician. This was a struggle for me in college, and here is a story about my struggles in college that helped me change my life.
During my first year of college, I was not sure if I wanted to be a musician. It was something that I always did and was essential to my identity but I started to loose passion, I was putting effort into something that was not guaranteed to be the cost of college. I always went to class though, I was never the type of person who would quit because of the way I was raised. I was never allowed to quit anything.
I decided to add another major, business, and began to see use college to benefit my future more.
Although I am blessed to have found my calling as a history teacher, the experience of college and being on my own, and figuring out myself, pushed me forward.
If you start college and dropout, what are your other options? It’s a sunk cost, you better make it work.
