CDF Beat the Odds Scholarship Program


The Children's Defense Fund Beat the Odds® program offers scholarship opportunities for young people who face tremendous adversity, demonstrate academic excellence and give back to their communities. It provides financial, academic and personal support needed to succeed in college and beyond – including up to $10,000 in scholarship money, mentoring, internship referrals, leadership development and career guidance.

Scholarship for students with learning disabilities


The Pine Cone Foundation awards multi-year scholarships to financially-disadvantaged California students with documented learning disabilities who aspire to attend a community college. Up to five students seeking associate, bachelor, technical and vocational degrees will be selected in 2017. The scholarship grant offers a year-round support program that can total up to $5,500 over a three-year period.

Stay In School Scholarship Program 
The LA Clippers are pleased to offer an opportunity to assist college-bound students. Six $4,000 Stay In School Scholarships will be offered to seniors planning to attend a four-year college. Scholarships will be made available to students residing in the greater Los Angeles area.
